Yes, breakfast is included in the room rate. We offer a varied breakfast buffet:
Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Yes, the hotel has a restaurant serving cuisine inspired by French-Nordic traditions.
The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (kitchen closes at 9:00 PM).
Please note: The restaurant is closed every Saturday from May 1 to September 30 for both overnight and external guests.
Yes, dogs are allowed in our rooms. You may bring one dog per room for an additional fee of DKK 150 per night. Please inform us in advance so we can prepare for your stay.

Cancellation is free until 6:00 PM the day before arrival.
For late cancellations or no-shows, the first night will be charged to the provided credit card.
Yes, we have two EV charging stations at the hotel provided by ECdrive. Guests can use the Monta app to register and make payments.
Unfortunately, we are not officially certified as wheelchair accessible, but we are a wheelchair-friendly hotel with ground floor rooms available.
Please inform us in advance about your needs, and we will do our best to accommodate them within the hotel’s capabilities.
Meetings & Conferences
Yes, we provide pens and notepads for participants, as well as Post-its and other writing materials. Whiteboards and flipcharts are available upon request.
Yes, coffee/tea, snacks, fresh fruit, and ice water are always available in the room.
Yes, our common areas can be used, but please inform us in advance so we can coordinate a suitable solution for your agenda.
We offer a variety of activities, including clay pigeon shooting, team battles, SMART training, and more. Contact our conference manager Sabina Ruggeri at sr@shh.dk to learn more.
Cancellation must be made in writing no later than 6 weeks before the event. After this, 65% of booked services will be charged.
If participant numbers are reduced by more than 20% after this point and up to 8 days before the event, 65% of the services will be charged.
Within 8 days of the event, 100% of the services will be charged.
For bookings made via state framework agreements, we refer to their terms.

Yes, we have 5 breakout rooms, as well as outdoor areas and shared spaces. Please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

All meals are prepared in-house with seasonal ingredients. We offer breakfast, morning refreshments, lunch, afternoon refreshments, and a 2-course dinner (chef’s choice).
Yes, we can accommodate all needs. Please inform us no later than one week before the event.
Yes, free parking is available at the hotel and nearby roads (except Bøgevej). Public transport is just outside the hotel. Bus 600S stops 100 meters from the entrance. From Copenhagen Central Station, take S-train line C toward Frederikssund, get off at Ølstykke Station, then take bus 600S toward Hillerød. The second stop is Skjalm Hvide Hotel.

Yes, each room has access to a terrace, garden, or balcony.
Yes, each room is exclusive to the booked event. If breakfast is included, it will be served in our breakfast restaurant with reserved tables for your party.
Yes, all events include table setting, flowers, and serving staff.
Yes, you can make a preliminary reservation for the room and any needed guest rooms. This non-binding reservation is valid for 14 days.
If the event is canceled less than 1 year in advance, the deposit is non-refundable.
If canceled less than 8 weeks before, 60% of the agreed price is charged.
If canceled less than 8 days before, 100% of the agreed services are charged.
Upon confirmation, we need to know the number of guests and rooms. This will appear on your order confirmation, which must be returned within 14 days along with a DKK 5,000 deposit. Up to 20% reduction in guests and rooms is allowed. You may add more if space permits.
4–6 weeks before the event, we’ll meet at the hotel to finalize details, including:

It’s helpful to bring a guest list and your preferences.
Yes, we offer a tasting menu for DKK 298 per person (including house wines) for up to 4 people. Tasting is available for confirmed events and takes place on Fridays or Saturdays based on that day’s menu.
Yes, please inform us at least one week before the event.
We do not have a sound system built in. We can lend a speaker for background music during dinner. For dancing, you’ll need to arrange your own music—DJs and live bands are welcome.
Yes, you may bring snacks, chocolate, and cake (incl. wedding cake). A service fee of DKK 15 per person applies for own cake.
Decorations such as place cards and menus can be brought in the week before the event.
Mention this at the final planning meeting. If extra decoration is needed, access to the room will be discussed during the final meeting.

Yes, for our 8-hour evening events, accommodation is included for the hosts and guests.
